The Match Day 2 of the ongoing Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Division 2 Middle League recorded two wins and a draw with Sankara Nationals recording a 2-1 victory over Tamale Soccer Angels at the Airforce Base Park in Tamale. Abdul Latif Adam and Musah Mohammed were on target for the Yendi side whilst Yussif Ganiu got the consolation for Angels.
Elsewhere, STK Stars of Sawla beat Yendi Soccer Heroes 2-1 at the BATCO Field on Thursday.
Sylvester Biyandal scored to put Heroes in the lead before Alhassan Mahama equalized for STK Stars, with Abdul Mumin Inus Musah bagging the three points for the Sawla side with a fine finish.
Meanwhile, Kumbungu Bimbiem FC and Kasalgu Arrow Heads played out a goalless draw at the TaTU Field.
