PREVIEW: NRFA Women Division One League Match Day 5

The Stadium Main Annex will be the centre of attraction when leaders FC Savannah Ladies welcome second place Bagabaga Ladies FC in a dicey encounter in Match Day 5 of the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Women Division One League.

The much anticipated clash would be staged on Sunday, July 18 where the top teams battle for the maximum win.

The two teams would go into the game with an unbeaten record to keep.

While FC Savannah are yet to lose a game at home this season, Bagabaga Ladies FC also boast of an unbeaten record this season, and have kept clean sheets in their previous 2 away matches.

Having played four matches so far in the NRFA Women’s Division One League, two goals difference separate both teams with FC Savannah at the top of the summit with 12 points alongside Bagabaga Ladies FC, and 12 goals and 10 goals respectively.

With no injuries in camp of Bagabaga Ladies, coach Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman can count on the likes of Salamatu Abdulai Nte, Ziblim Farihana and Yahaya Asana who have all received call ups to the Female National Under 20 team the Black Princess.

For coach Tamim Adams Sachibu, Abdulai Karima will lead the attack with Black Maidens goalkeeper Miji will also be manning the sticks for the home side.
