FC Young Queens recorded an emphatic 3-1 win over Kumbungu Soccer Ladies at the Stadium Game Center on Match Day 1 of the 2021/2022 season of the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Women’s Division One(1) League.
Goals from Wasiima Mohammed, Memunatu Abdulai and Rahamatu Habib was enough for the Queens to clinch the three maximum points.
Nasara Ladies defeat Dahinsheli Ladies 2-0, thanks to goals from Abdulai Bintu and an own goal from Belinda Kolog.
Meanwhile, Savelugu Yoo Ladies FC pipped Kpanvo Future Ladies 1-0 at the Savelugu R/C JHS Park thanks to Issah Sophia last minute winner.
