NRFA Chairman’s New Year Message of unity to members and stakeholders

The Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) Alhaji Abu Hassan Mahamadu Rhyzo has called for collective effort among members of the Regional FA and other relevant stakeholders of the game towards the growth and promotion of football in the region this year.

He urged club owners, technical team members, referees, supporters, media and other stakeholders not to allow their parochial interest overshadow the interest of Northern football.

Alhaji Rhyzo in a New Year message encouraged the stakeholders to cultivate a proper sense of unity amongst themselves to enhance the real growth and development of the game in the region.

Alhaji Rhyzo who is also a Member of the Black Satellite Management Committee, observed the need for clubs to abide by the statutes and general rules and regulations of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in order to avoid possible sanctions from the NRFA.

The Northern Regional FA Boss also wants the media to be circumspect in their reportage in order not to bring into disrepute, the name of the game of football.

He further charged the media to write and broadcast stories that can uplift the image of Northern Region football high as well as attract Cooperate Ghana to invest in the game.

Alhaji Rhyzo noted that Covid was still with us and appealed to the stakeholders to stick to the safety protocols in all aspect of life, most especially when the season resumes.
