Eid-Ul Fitr/Easter package for Northern Regional Division Two Clubs


The Northern Regional Football Association at a short ceremony on Tuesday, the 26th of April presented hampers to all Seventy three (73) Division 2 clubs in the region to enable them celebrate a belated Easter and the Eid Ul Fitr festival slated for next week.

Each hamper contained Rice, Frytol cooking oil, Mackerel , tin tomato and One football.
Addressing representatives of the division two clubs before the presentation, the regional chairman Alhaji Abu Hassan Rhyzo used the occasion to commend club management and their technical teams for the cooperation the Regional Football Association has enjoyed so far from them and wish the cordiality will continue into the foreseeable future.

The regional chairman equally praised the playing body, who are predominantly muslims for their endurance in slugging in out every week in the midst of the heat up north and Ramadan fast.

Alhaji Rhyzo concluded by reiterating the fact that the welfare of clubs will continue to be a matter of priority to the Regional Football Association and therefore urged individuals who have good suggestions for the upliftment of the Northern game not to hesitate to bring them on board for consideration and possible implementation.

All 19 District Football Association Chairmen were also catered for separately.
Mr. Farouk Abdulai, the CEO for Northern City and Secretary to the Division Two working committee who spoke on behalf of the clubs, thanked the RFA for the gesture and prayed that the cooperation and mutual respect that has existed between the two parties will continue to grow in strength for the benefit of the region.
